Port Washington, NY, June 22, 2022 — The NPD Group today announced that CT Lab is honoring Brianca German Williamson, account manager in the consumer technology practice, with a Black Leaders in Consumer Technology Award. The awards shine a special spotlight on seven African-American leaders in the CT space who are driving the industry forward and making history in the process. 

In her role, German Williamson helps leading consumer technology brands and manufacturers grow their business by identifying opportunities and challenges through data analytics. She is passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and cultivated that passion at NPD by being part of a team that created NPD’s DEI Advisory Board, which she currently sits on. German Williamson also chartered and co-chairs NPD’s Black Employee Resource Group and works with a team to provide pro-bono consulting to Black-owned businesses.

CT Lab’s 2022 Black Leaders in Consumer Technology Award list is featured on the Dealerscope website, including first-hand accounts of the honorees’ career paths, challenges they’ve faced along the way, and advice they’d give to non-Black colleagues to support the inclusion of Black people in the industry.
